I’m so happy you’re here! I’m Ava.
I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA to a proud yinzer family (ask me to do my “Pittsburghese” accent…it’s real, I promise). I started ballet when I was young, training at programs like the Miami City Ballet School and Chautauqua Dance Institute. When I was standing at the barre, I couldn't help but hum along to the music and make strange faces at myself in the mirror.
I caught the theater bug after playing the Elephant Bird in a local production of Seussical. The rest is history.
I eventually traded in my Terrible Towel for cowboy boots, and headed down to Oklahoma City University to study Music Theatre and Vocal Performance. Some of my favorite credits include Guys and Dolls (Sarah Brown), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Veruca), Freaky Friday (Gretchen), and She Loves Me (Amalia).
I am passionate about all forms of art and their ability to cultivate community, kindness, and connection.
When I’m not performing, you can find me learning new languages (I’m an aspiring polyglot), reading any Elena Ferrante novel, watching Olympic figure skating videos on Youtube, or eating impressive amounts of chocolate.
